Where is the linky thing for Caterday? I have some information on a couple of charities that need some support, one of which won't cost you anything but time.

Dorothy/zebrapal - A couple minor suggestions.

Could you block off part of the fence with cardboard or throw a box or some old blankets over into the alley? Not sure how much these would actually help, but they might make things a little better for the lost kittie.

You could try calling the police, although likely they would just call Animal Control.

If you have room to foster (or adopt) the kittie, consider leaving a note to that effect for whoever has the alley blocked/locked. (depending upon the neighborhood)

Thinking about you all.
